Hi, we are Mat and Lisa Hugh, the owners of Kintripper Motorhome Hire in Plymouth. We thought we’d tell you a bit about ourselves. We’ve been making our happiest memories out on the road for the past 20 years with our family: camping, caravanning and motor-homing. Harnessing our passion for exploring, we took the plunge and decided to start up Kintripper, a luxury motorhome hire and campervan hire company based near Plymouth, Devon, in the heart of the beautiful South West.
There is so much to experience and explore here in the South West. Serving numerous areas, including Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset, our motorhome hire is conveniently located for your pick-up and drop off point wherever you decide to take your next adventure.
Our Kintripper Motorhomes are 4 & 7 berths, meaning they are suitable for both families and couples to get out and explore. A lot of thought went into the type of motorhomes we would give the Kintripper name to. We decided on a layout with a fixed bed at the back – there’s nothing worse than rolling in late and realising you have to make up the bed before you crash!

Our Kintripper Motorhomes are 4, 5 and 7 berths, meaning they are suitable for both families and couples to get out and explore. A lot of thought went into the type of motorhomes we would give the Kintripper name to. We decided on a layout with a fixed bed at the back – there’s nothing worse than rolling in late and realising you have to make up the bed before you crash! We also have campervan hire too – “KIP” the campervan (4-berth)!
The Kintripper Motorhomes can be taken anywhere within the EU, for weekly bookings at peak season, or 3-day minimum bookings out of peak season. You don’t have to go far to catch a glimpse of the UK’s stunning coastlines – and with the ferry on our doorstep, Europe is only a quick hop over the Channel.
We ensure that all of our vehicles are well-maintained and are extremely clean and comfortable. When you choose to hire with Kintripper, we will make sure that you are fully equipped with everything we believe you’ll need when you’re away.
There are also several extras on offer for those who may want them, including a sat nav, and you can even bring your well-behaved furry friend along for the ride!
You can trust in us to ensure that your motorhome hire will be as stress-free as possible – we will even provide you with an induction upon collection. We also have videos of each of the motorhomes for you to get acquainted with your vehicle before collection. Whether you are a complete novice or an experienced road-tripper, we will make sure you feel confident when you set off on your journey.
We have taken a passion of ours and turned it into something more – an exciting new venture that gives other people a chance to experience what we love so much.
