CAMERA LIGHTS & ACTION
Cornwall’s rugged landscape and scenery, along with its fishing villages and beaches have been used by film and TV programs dating as far back as 1899.
So if you are a real film buff this would make the perfect touring holiday. You could hire one of our motorhomes or our camper-van and because we are based in Plymouth (a stones throw away from the Tamar Bridge) it makes it so easy for you to visit the many filming locations in Cornwall and also take in what Cornwall has to offer.

Films & TV Filmed in Cornwall.
Doc Martin, Saving Grace and most recently Fisherman’s Friends were filmed in the charming little fishing village of Port Isaac, along the North coast. You could also visit Boscastle and Trebarwith Stand and not forgetting Tintagel – all very beautiful places. The north coast in one of my favourite places to visit in Cornwall.
The South Coast offers filming locations for Poldark and Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland. Charlestown has been the historic back drop to a number of films and T.V programs.

The West Coast has been a hit with some top films: Brad Pitt’s World War Z filmed in the docks of Falmouth, and Johnny Depp’s Pirates Of the Caribbean filmed on the beautiful sands of St Ives, which you would think was filmed in a tropical location. Also Ladies of Lavender and Johnny English have all been filmed on the west coast.
