One of my favourite things in life is music. It really can boost your mood. I love to sing (not that I can!) but going to a music festival is even better.
In 2016 a record number of 30.9 million people went to gigs or festivals in the UK and there is no sign of this trend slowing down.
With our company being based in Plymouth you are spoilt for choice of festivals in and around Devon and Cornwall. Port Eliot, Tropical Pressure, Little Orchard, Glas-denbury, and Beautiful Days are just some of what they have to offer.
People are not just attending these for the music any more, with so much variety from stand-up comedy to rap karaoke. The fact they are making them so family friendly, and for all ages is perfect for a weekend escape. With so many different camping options why not.
We have done a few of these festivals and have enjoyed every moment, but I would NEVER stay in a tent for a number of reasons:
- My husband would never find his way back.
- The amount of guide ropes I would trip over is unreal.
- The fear of someone peeing against my tent in the middle of the night, the list could go on.
I am luxury all the way. It is so easy just to rock up in the camper, and “Kip” is ideal for this – the perfect festival van.
I stake my claim for the weekend with my festival flag pole. I get the chairs out and watch people struggle with their little pull along carts going back and forth with their camping equipment i.e. mattress (full bed mattress) kitchen sink, camping bits.
