We All Love A VW

WE ALL LOVE A VW

There is absolutely no denying the cult status of the VW campers. There has been a global popularity for the VW since the arrival of the 1960s type 2 campervan, which has stayed popular and is iconic amongst hippies and surf culture.

Its draw and appeal to wow people has managed to keep the cult status going. As a child I can remember travelling around the UK with my grandparents in one, and I am blessed to have this as one of my happy memories.

In the 90’s VW introduced the Morden T4 van which many people started to convert into campers. We recently bought one ourselves and did the same thing. We have only had it for a short while but we absolutely love it. It kind of gives you the luxury of a motorhome but on a smaller scale and it also gives you the outside camping feel that I love.

We have recently added a T5 to the Kintripper family. Since they have been producing the T5 it has caused a resurgence of the VW camper popularity. More people are having conversions done to their own vans, and many always dream of owning and living the VW adventure. But they also realise the expense of keeping one – if you talk to a true “dubber” VW owner they will tell you it is a real labour of love or a money pit depending on who you talk to.

So Matt and I would like to give you the opportunity to experience the beauty of using and driving a T5. Make your own memories and enjoy the fun that people have turned into a cult following.

The T5 is perfect for wild camping, going off the beaten track, and music festivals. We have gone to a number of festivals and this will be the ideal van for the occasion.

Instagram has also boosted the popularity of the T5 with some fantastic pictures that people from all around the world enjoy and share.

So why not take the plunge and hire our T5 named “Kip” and see why people fall in love with VW……….
